Woman Claims She Was Sexually Assaulted in Nursing Home

The family of an 87-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit against an Illinois nursing home amid allegations of sexual assault.

They are claiming that their mother had been abused by an aide at the nursing home and even describes in detail the measures that some employees went to to cover up the incident from doctors as well as police.

According to the family, the abuse took place a year and a half ago at the nursing home in question. The woman was taken to a hospital shortly after the abuse, where doctors found injuries on the her body that favored the sexual abuse allegations. The nursing home in question has denied all of the allegations.
