Two New Jersey police officers rescued a man from a burning vehicle after they pursued the vehicle because it was reported stolen a few days prior.

Authorities said that the 29-year-old driver had allegedly stolen the vehicle a few nights before by gunpoint.

The police officers spotted the car in Hillside on Route 22 and chased it for about a mile before it crashed an rolled. Police then ran and shattered the window in order to pull the man to safety.
