Fatal Howell car crash still under investigation

Posted on Thursday, August 12th, 2010 at 7:41 am

Police officials continue to investigate a car accident that killed a Howell High School football player and injured two of his team mates in late July.

The accident occurred as one of the injured teens in the crash was driving a 2009 Mercedes Benz when his car left the road for unknown reasons and the car ran into a home.

Police officials believe that the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The two team mates suffered non-life threatening injuries, but the third teen was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency officials.
